Winsome the Cat needs a home
I was left at a church!
Winsome was born around March 10, 2017. He is one of our "W" kittens who were abondaned at a church in Allegany, NY. They were found in a Rubbermaid container that had holes cut out of the top and was taped shut. Thankfully they were found quickly. Winsome is a gorgeous silver grey tabby and has the most beautiful, soulful eyes. He is a sweet cat who loves to be pet and will reach up to any hands that will pet him, even if it means standing up on his back legs to reach them! He can be very sweetly persistent and vocal with his requests for attention! He will give you head bunts, rub up against you, and occasionally sit on your shoulders. He didn’t have a great start to life but is doing well in his foster home. He may need a little extra time when going to his forever home, just till he gets to know you, then he’s fine. He gets startled sometimes but gets over it quickly and then walks around like it was no big deal! He’s a comical little guy who will make you laugh. He uses a scratching post and he sits quietly to have his nails trimmed. He is fine with other cats and lives with a 75 lb lab. Winsome is neutered and ready to come home with you so he can be your silver lining!
A cat can live 12-18+ years if cared for properly. Be sure you are able to care for it for its lifetime.
The ADOPTION FEE for kittens is $85.00 unless there is a specific amount listed for a particular kitten. The adoption fee for a young cat (1 to 3 years) is $75.00 unless there is a specific amount listed for a particular cat. The adoption fee for a cat 3 years and up is $50.00 unless there is a specific amount listed for that cat. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY.
All kittens/cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, wormed, treated for fleas and tested negative for FIV/FELV.
YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OF AGE TO ADOPT A CAT FROM JOYFUL RESCUES
We keep our pet list as up-to-date as possible. As soon as a pet is adopted, it is removed from the list. If a pet is still showing, it is still available for adoption.
